In this video, we look at how art, culture, and everyday life in Oaxaca all work together. Traditional life in Mexico is demonstrated through the ways of life and customs of Oaxaca, things like the calenda, or street parades, with the monos de calenda, the chinas Oaxaqueñas, the traditional comidas, or foods of Oaxaca, like mole, chapulines, tlayudas, and tejate, and the danzas Oaxaqueñas, the dances of the seven regions of Oaxaca.
