Did you know that...?
🎰...The song mentioned in the video was the remastered The Band's version of "Atlantic City," first sung by Bruce Springsteen. You can listen to it here: https://youtu.be/WiGhQO4OPx0. This song plays quite often on the Atlantic City boardwalk.
🎰...The fishing rod that my Father used in this video was a NEW Daiwa Samurai MH rod, which was a part of a $25.00 rod+reel combo that I bought back in the days at the Dick's Sporting Goods. Even though the rod doesn't have much backbone, the biggest fish I ever caught on one of those was a 35lbs Cownose Ray (Rhinoptera bonasus) from the surf. The rod did not cave in.
🎰...The Pier at Caspian Avenue is actually a GREAT spot for Tautog (Tautoga onitis) fishing. If you ever have a chance, get yourself some green crabs or sand fleas and head there when the season is open. A lot of locals pull keepers from over there.
