HMAS Supply and her sister ship, HMAS Stalwart, are crucial for the Royal Australian Navy to keep its ships at sea and in the fight. Climb aboard and watch as HMAS Supply's crew conduct a replenishment at sea with the missile-guided destroyer HMAS Hobart during Fleet Certification Period 2022, conducted off Australia's east coast. HMAS Supply is the first of two Supply-class auxiliary oiler replenishment ships built for the Navy by Spanish shipbuilder Navantia. HMAS Supply was commissioned on 10 April 2021 and the second ship, HMAS Stalwart, was commissioned seven months later on 13 November 2021. The double-hulled ships carry fuel, dry cargo, water, food, ammunition, equipment and spare parts to provide operational support for deployed Navy ships and to support Australian Defence Force operations far from the port. HMAS Supply has already provided vital support to Operation Tonga Assist 2022.
