How to Make Delicious Crunchy Chickpeas || Easy Crispy Roasted Chickpeas || Healthy Snack Recipe || NgeeSuperKitchen
This roasted chickpeas snack recipe is easy and quick to make, and it's a delicious way to add nutrition to your kids' diet. It's also high in protein and makes an excellent replacement for meat in vegetarian and vegan diets. The prep time is 5 minutes, and roast in the oven for about 15-17 minutes. It's softly roasted to make it easier for your toddlers to chew. The chickpeas have a yummy sweet-salty flavour after roasting.
You can use honey or maple syrup as your sweetener. But, if making the chickpeas for a child under 12 months to 2 years of age, you should use maple syrup as honey is not suitable for children under the age of one due to toxic bacteria that may cause infant botulism. Alternatively, you can omit the sweetener altogether.
Roasted chickpeas can be eaten alone or added to your favorite healthy dishes such as green salad, soup, and so on for a crispy texture.
