Purity : Understand Gold carat : 24K, 22K, 18K
24 Carat : 99.9% Gold - 24KT is considered the purest form of gold.
It is too soft to be converted into any jewelry and only bars/Coins can be made.
22 Carat : 91.6% Gold – Other metal such as zinc and silver added to make Jewelry.
Cost is less for 22 carat (compare to 24carat) and do not pay for impurity as its part of making changes
18 Carat : 75% gold only
Mostly used for diamond jewelry as it help to hold diamond
14 Carat : 58.5% Gold
