The annual Kumquat Festival is being held in historic downtown Dade City this weekend. The Kumquat Growers and the Dade City Chamber of Commerce celebrate the kumquat at the festival of the tiny fruit with the funny name. As many as 40,000 people head to the kumquat festival to taste the various kumquat treats from kumquat salsas and sauces, to pie and cookies, and even kumquat beer.
