Ross Vet 360 Virtual Campus Tour: Lower Auditorium
At Ross, our professors’ doors are always open to you. They have outstanding credentials as veterinarians, teachers, and researchers. The best part? They’re passionate about passing that knowledge on to you and helping you become the best veterinarian you can be.
Ross’ auditoriums are used for everything from teaching and large presentations to white coat, transition and clinical placement ceremonies. They seat a total of 317 students combined. The Lower Auditorium is also where classes for the Veterinary Preparatory Program, seen here, are taught.
Ross offers a one semester Vet Prep program for students who can benefit from specific courses designed to enhance the likelihood of their success in veterinary school. Courses in the Vet Prep program include science, mathematics, and scientific writing. The principles of case-based learning are woven throughout the program. Additionally, a transitional course introduces students to their academic veterinary medicine program, promoting mindfulness and study skills. Vet Prep students who successfully complete the program matriculate into first semester classes in the DVM program.
The Vet Prep program exemplifies Ross’ holistic admissions process and the opportunities we offer aspiring veterinary professionals. We understand that grades and test scores are important, but we also know that they don’t always show us the bigger picture. Yes, we do consider your GPA, GRE, and academic performance during admissions. But we also look at much more—because you’re much more.
