Her name is EJATU DEEN aka THE RAPPER DEN STEP MAMA. Born in a small hospital located at ABERDEEN, western FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE she was blessed to be raised by a huge family with many aunts and uncles playing their part. Apart from her mom and dad the most significant person in her childhood was her grandmother with whom she stayed at the infamous MOUNTAIN COURT EASTERN FREETOWN for a few years prior to the war breaking out.
From MOUNTAIN CUT her and her grandmother along with other family members escaped to GAMBIA to flee the war. From GAMBIA it was off to NORTH AMERICA. Ejatu first resided in CANADA( WINNIPEG MANITOBA to be exact )with her grandmother until she became too much too handle for the sweet old lady. So she was sent off to the UNITED STATES to stay with her father. Unfortunately matters didn't get much better for the troubled teen and her rebellious ways so she was sent back to SIERRA LEONE. While in SIERRA LEONE her more memorable moments happened within the years she was attending the well known JOHN F KENNEDY school. It's a school known to host a number of kids from overseas whose parents prefer to have them taught on an international standard.
During this time QUEENDEEN as many call her got to know more about her homeland and discovered talents that she never knew she had. Almost like the perfect prelude for what was about to occur when she returned to the UNITED STATES where she eventually met her team mate and rumored LOVER/HUSBAND who also happens to have a very similar past.
Soon after returning to the DMV which many of us even in SIERRA LEONE know all too well EJATU became friends with TBJ. The rest has played out into what we now know as TEAMTAKEOVER.
Shortly after meeting TBJ she met the renowned DJ MASTER RELL who has produced a number of hits. Dj Rell produced Ejatu's first single NOR GO GREE ft TBJ which was an instant SMASH HIT bringing her to the forefront of the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. Since then she's released multiple songs including the dancehall banger NO MORE and her most recent release OVER HERE in which she clearly demonstrates and proclaims loudly that be you a male or female rapper, old or new , you now have a STEP MOTHER.
Ejatu Deen is reputed to be the X FACTOR ;meaning she is what our country has been missing to propel into the INTERNATIONAL STAGE.
She is currently set to debut her first album rumored to be called MAJORMOVES under the TTO(TEAMTAKEOVER) label.
We certainly can't wait to see what our STEPMOTHER has in store for us next
