Union Pacific 844 Departs Cheyenne, WY July 2016

After a nice fun day at the rodeo, time to head back home. In this video, we see the UP 844 and the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days train standing ready to depart for Denver. When it's time to load, UP's Sr. Manager of Heritage Operations Ed Dickens lets 5 out on the engine's whistle to call in passengers. He then does it again 5 minutes before departure. Then at 5 PM sharp, the train departs town, and starts South. We catch it near Tower A, along Terry Ranch, and just inside the Colorado State Line at Carr. Let's go home! Rate. Comment. Subscribe.
