Dado (Diether Ocampo) after five years in prison wants to change his life and go legit as a cab driver. The life of thievery is over. But his partner Rosa (Rosanna Roces) disagrees to disassemble their tandem “Bonnie and Clyde.” Aside from turning away from his previous crooked ways Dado also wants to rekindle his long-dead romance with an ex-girlfriend. Rosa on the other hand has more serious matters to consider. She has her child Enteng (Jiro Mano) and blind mother Azon (Liza Lorena) who totally rely on her. Folding up only to spread her legs again to the whoring business she has long dropped is something she considers downright distasteful and totally moronic. She wants them to keep hitting the road as is—crooked. But the partnership is cracking apart. The simple fact that they couldn’t agree on what to do about the taxi cab—he wants to keep it, she wants to push it forward to the syndicate as usual—is ominous. When Tiyong (Vic Diaz), the syndicate big boss, finds out that Rosa and Dado are doing jobs outside his knowledge, he gets back at them by framing up Dado and snatching the taxi away. Dado becomes erratic and murders Tiyong. Lupo (Pen Medina), takes over Tiyong’s throne, gives back the taxi cab to Dado as a token of peace, but not without a deal in return: they have to play along with his game. This time it’s bigger and dirtier—kidnapping. Dado plans to kidnap his ex-girlfriend’s daughter, Iris June (Katrina Nazario), who he thinks is his child, and whose legitimate father is wealthy enough to pay the ransom. This move is behind Lupo’s back—because Dado doesn’t want anybody else sharing the pie—which makes it doubly dangerous. Rosa plays along, not simply because of the big P3 million payoff, but more seriously, because of her growing love for Dado. This is going to be their last gig, and plans to start anew.
