CN train derailment Cisco BC August 4, 2006 Remastered in HD

Recording of railroad radio conversations with still pictures. Due to another derailment on CN at Lytton, trains of CP and CN used CP track. At Cisco, westbounds used interchange track from CP to CN. Interchange track was in poor condition, causing derailment. Prior to accident, a track crew wanted to replace 80 ties (marked with orange paint) but was told by dispatcher to wait so as not to delay trains that were coming. This train was slowly coming up interchange track and I heard air brakes go into emergency and saw a cloud of dust around the corner. I started recording soon after that.
