5/3/2012 DOLTON, IL: Forgive the annoying wind noise. Dolton Junction is the location where the CSX, Indiana Harbor Belt, and Union Pacific tracks all cross at grade and anything that rolls on rails can be seen passing through. The substantial tower is still manned. Though, during our visit new 'SafeTran' signals were being put up. So Dolton tower's days may be numbered. Scenes from ground level and up on top of "Mount Dolton" (Warning: the hill has an active tick population, which I learned about shortly afterwards). During our time here, no train symbols were recorded, so none will be described below. Only locomotive numbers and models.
